Following discussions with Scottish Government, Skills Development Scotland are pleased to confirm that the Individual Training Account scheme (ITA) will reopen to new applications from 27 June 2019.

SDS will accept up to 15,000 applications for funding from this date until 30 September 2019.

The scheme will be put on hold when the target of 15,000 is met or by 30 September, whichever comes first.

Care Sector: Group Qualifications

The training is made up of 6 courses of your choice with each course lasting approximately 1 hour (an example of courses available include: Challenging Behaviour, First Aid Awareness, Food Hygiene, Moving and Handling Theory, Role of the Care Worker, Diversity and Equality – there are many more to choose from). Training will be fully flexible and attendance will be agreed with the Trainer. On completion of the training you will be presented with a portfolio containing certificates for all individual courses completed.


Construction Trades

Course Option 1.  Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment

Course Option 2: CSCS Revision and Refresher Test

Course Option 3: Level 1 H&S in a Construction Environment and CSCS Revision and Test

Course Option 4: Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment- stand- alone unit.
