Fife Employability Pathway

Recruitment and Outreach Project Funded by Fairer Scotland Fund and ESIF – ended 31 March 2019

A successful programme which supported unemployed JSA claimants, Work Programme returners, Young people identified as being NEET and economically inactive residents of Fife age 16 and upwards.

The project provided intensive employability training and Job Brokering Services throughout Central and West Fife, focusing particularly on 20% SIMD areas as well as long term unemployed and clients coming off sickness benefits and keen to get back onto the career ladder. Services were delivered on an outreach basis and within community venues, such as Job centre plus in Cowdenbeath, as well as from our offices in Lochgelly.

The project was client led with the focus on each individual needs and support requirements.
