Louise Pelly

Employability Training Officer

Louise joined DEAP in December 2020 to work on the Employability Fund Programme primarily and has come from working in the recruitment industry. Whilst in recruitment, she gained experience of partnership and inter-agency working at both national and local levels which increased the number of individuals in sustained and rewarding employment.

Having studied at Abertay University, gaining a BSC (Hons) in Human Resource Management, she went onto achieve an MSc in Human Resource Management from Glasgow Caledonian University and attained membership with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) at Associate level.

Louise is passionate about reducing her carbon footprint and eliminating food poverty and has worked towards this by volunteering at the West End Community Fridge in Dundee and the online platform, OLIO.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, discovering new nature walks and socialising with friends. Louise also loves all things vegan and learning about different cultures.
