Employability Fund

The Employability Fund supports unemployed people who are keen to learn new skills and achieve qualifications that will help them gain and sustain employment.

The provision is flexible and can include a range of training opportunities, both in centre and work based with an employer. DEAP will support you to identify and secure a suitable work placement that suits your skills and aspirations.

You will be expected to attend for a set number of hours/days per week for the duration of the training and/or placement.

Weekly Travel Expenses to attend the centre or work placement will be reimbursed after deducting the first £3.00 of any claim.

You will have the opportunity to undertake training including employability modules and online courses, covering subjects such as CV and Cover Letter writing, Interview Skills and Customer Service.

Getting involved in the Employability Fund programme will help you on your journey to sustained employment,  further education or training.

Please contact your Work Coach, SDS Adviser or alternatively contact our staff for more information.
